Inefficiency in Indonesia

Something that would always be a part of Indonesian: INEFFICIENCY. Especially those governmental people. Regardless of their status or rank, without a BRIBE they would only do a snail move. DON'T give your hopes too high. DON'T waste your energy, effort, time or whatever as they will be useless.

I try to do a step by step method, the official way to renew my passport. Just trying to be a true citizen who obey the rules SET UP by the government. YET they are the ones who BROKE the rules. The offer is: with a bribe summing to Rp 600.000 my passport will be ready the next day. By doing the right way, this is what I get:
First: 1 week of process
Second: Bring additional documents a week later.
Third: Being rejected when I came a week later because the passport has not been processed.

What I learnt: (some) Indonesians are TOO corrupted to be straight. You got the MONEY you get what you want. Your EFFORT, SWEAT, ENERGY, TIME iw worthless in Indonesia. Don't follow the rules, let the RULES FOLLOW YOUR MONEY......

Envy Tears.....

When you see someone with something you crave you would feel happy for them as they can have it.

When someone with the similar condition as you are and get her wish perfectly come true.... You will be happy for her and cry with envy tears.

Nothing hurts more than having a wish so near yet unreachable as you are so powerless over it.
